The lower hillside as well as lower elevations near the mountains can expect peak winds gusts of 40 to 50 mph wednesday afternoon, while the remainder of anchorage can expect gusts of 20 to 35 mph. Winds at lower elevations will be generally short-lived compared with the warning area.
